Our client is seeking an experienced Lawyer to join their Tunbridge Wells office. You will provide high-quality legal advice and support to clients across a range of residential property transactions. You will be responsible for managing matters from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring transactions are handled efficiently, accurately and in accordance with relevant property laws and regulations. You will:


*Manage all aspects of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion
*Draft and review contracts and associated documentation
*Ensure transactions comply with relevant property legislation and regulatory requirements
*Manage the conveyancing process from initial instruction to completion
*Conduct and support negotiations between relevant parties
*Prepare transfer documentation and coordinate the exchange and completion of contracts
*Liaise with mortgage lenders and other parties involved in transactions as required
*Provide clear and practical legal advice on residential property matters, including leases and property disputes where appropriate
*Ensure clients’ interests are protected throughout the transaction
*Draft, review and negotiate legal documents relating to property transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable legal standards
*Keep up to date with developments in property law and conveyancing practice
*Ensure transactions comply with current legislation and regulations and advise clients accordingly
*Maintain regular and professional communication with clients throughout their matters
*Keep clients informed of progress, respond promptly to queries and concerns, and provide appropriate guidance throughout the transaction process


The ideal candidate will:


*Have a minimum of 2 Years PQE within Residential Conveyancing
*Be cheerful and friendly with a calm and professional disposition
*Be self-motivated and enthusiastic
*Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
*Have the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
*Have exceptional organisational and time management capabilities
*Have the ability to handle high-pressure situations, meet tight deadlines and make sound decisions.
*Be able to respond effectively to changing priorities
*Have good analytical and problem-solving skills
*Be confident with IT systems
*Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. Hybrid following probation.
