Thrive Education is looking for Teaching Assistants in and around Stroud who want the flexibility of supply without closing the door on something more permanent.

HERE’S WHAT YOU COULD BE DOING


One day you might be supporting learning in a mainstream classroom.


The next, you could be providing 1:1 support.


Another day could see you working alongside a child or young person with additional needs.


That’s the beauty of supply — no two days have to look the same.


We work with a range of schools across Stroud, giving our TAs the opportunity to experience different settings, build their experience and find the environments where they really thrive.


WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Essential:
*Previous experience working with children — this can be through education, childcare, youth work, volunteering or another relevant setting
*A genuine interest in supporting children to learn, develop and succeed
*Reliability and a professional attitude
*The ability to adapt quickly to different schools, classrooms and situations


Desirable:
*Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
*A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
*A relevant TA, childcare or education qualification


You don’t need to have years of classroom experience. What matters most is that you understand children, can build positive relationships and are prepared to get stuck in.
