Suffolk | Salary dependent on experience | Fixed-term contract
Have you ever raised an invoice, entered data into a system or dealt with a customer query? If you have a good eye for detail and enjoy helping people, this could be the role for you.
We are working with a fast-growing group of companies in the Suffolk area who need an extra pair of hands in their busy billing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in getting the detail right and wants to build a career within finance. You do not need years of experience or formal accountancy qualifications. What matters most is accuracy, a helpful manner with customers and a willingness to learn.
What you will be doing:
*Raising sales invoices and credit notes
*Keeping systems accurate and up to date through careful data entry
*Checking quotation details meet audit requirements before billing
*Liaising with customers and the internal sales team
*Responding to invoice queries quickly and professionally
*Supporting the wider team with other duties as needed
What we are looking for:
*A confident communicator who is comfortable dealing with customers
*Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload
*Someone happy to learn new computer systems (full training provided)
*Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
*Any experience of invoicing, billing, data entry or customer service would be an advantage but is not essential
Nice to have, though not essential:
*Experience in a credit control or sales ledger role
*Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar
*Experience using D365 or similar finance systems
