This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional services company which offers a broad range of accountancy services to their clients. Based in Central London, they are looking for a client-facing Senior Bookkeeper who will join a busy team within the firm.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

*Sales and Purchase Ledger processing using cloud accounting software (Xero)
*Regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
*Preparing accounts to TB stage at the year end with supporting reconciliations
*VAT and month end reporting (including Making Tax Digital submissions) and ensuring the timely filing of VAT returns
*Highlighting VAT issues to clients to ensure they are compliant with relevant rules and regulations
*Support clients using cloud accounting software and helping them to transition from their current systems
*Training of junior staff
*Ad hoc client queries
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE/BE:

*Practice background - 3 years experience minimum
*Xero certified
*Working knowledge of VAT legislation (including MTD requirements)
*Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
