A leading manufacturing business in Lincoln is looking for an ambitious Assistant Finance Business Partner to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who wants to play a key role in supporting operational decision-making, driving business performance, and partnering with stakeholders across the organisation.

Working closely with the Finance Business Partner and wider operational leadership team, you’ll provide meaningful financial insight that helps shape strategic and operational decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
*Supporting month-end reporting and management accounts preparation
*Producing financial analysis and performance reports for operational stakeholders
*Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities
*Monitoring manufacturing costs, margins, and operational KPIs
*Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance
*Supporting investment appraisals and business cases
*Building strong relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
*Driving continuous improvement across reporting and finance processes
You’ll be joining a well-established manufacturer with a strong market presence, offering excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and genuine career development opportunities.
We’re looking for someone who is:
*Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA, or recently qualified
*Experienced in a finance analyst, assistant management accountant, assistant finance business partner, or similar role
*Comfortable analysing financial data and translating it into meaningful business insights
*Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
*Proactive, curious, and keen to develop their commercial finance skills
*Advanced in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets
