We are looking for dedicated and experienced part time (16hrs per week) Speech and Language Therapist to join our team!
Waterloo Manor Hospital is a specialist hospital dedicated to supporting women with complex mental health needs, particularly personality disorders. Situated in serene, landscaped grounds on the outskirts of Garforth, Leeds, our facility blends exceptional clinical expertise with compassion, dignity and hope.
What You’ll be Doing
*Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored therapy plans for residents with a range of communication and swallowing needs.
*Work collaboratively with care staff, families, and other healthcare professionals.
*Provide training and support to staff to ensure consistent communication strategies.
*Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews.
What You’ll Need
*Is a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
*Has experience working with adults with complex needs, neurological conditions, or learning disabilities.
*Is empathetic, proactive, and a strong communicator.
*Enjoys working as part of a supportive and person-centred team.
