A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy logistics operation based in Stanford-le-Hope.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a reliable and hardworking candidate looking for a long-term position with a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
*Operating FLT safely and efficiently within the yard and warehouse
*Loading and unloading vehicles
*Moving and positioning stock and materials
*Carrying out general yard duties
*Keeping the yard and work areas clean, tidy and organised
*Supporting the warehouse team with day-to-day operations
*Following all health & safety procedures
*Ensuring goods are handled safely and correctly
Requirements
*Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or yard environment
*Counterbalance FLT licence – essential
*Reach Truck licence – highly desirable
*Previous yard experience would be an advantage
*Good understanding of health & safety procedures
*Reliable, punctual and hardworking
*Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy yard environment
*Good communication and teamwork skills
