Full job descriptionKenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Handyman to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis in Warlingham. The successful candidate will be a practical, hands-on individual with a good range of general maintenance skills, who takes pride in their work and can work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
*Carry out general building and property maintenance
*Complete basic plumbing, carpentry and decorating repairs
*Undertake painting, patching and general making-good works
*Repair and maintain doors, locks, fixtures and fittings
*Carry out routine maintenance checks and identify potential issues
*Assemble, install and repair furniture and equipment
*Keep communal areas, buildings and external areas well maintained
*Assist with basic electrical maintenance where appropriately qualified
*Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance or property maintenance role
*Good practical and problem-solving skills
*Able to carry out a variety of general maintenance tasks
*Good attention to detail and a professional approach
*Full UK driving licence essential
