This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional services company which offers a broad range of accountancy services to their clients. Based in Central London, they are looking for an Assistant Manager who will join a busy team within the firm and work with a range of clients

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

*Review corporate accounts prepared by junior team members as well as sole trader accounts
*Preparation and finalisation of accounts and corporate tax returns
*Supporting partners and managers with day to day ad hoc queries
*Managing workflow and ensuring accounts and tax returns are prepared and filed on time
*Filing accounts with Companies House and HMRC
*Preparation of personal tax returns
*Train junior staff
*Research and assistance with more technical areas
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE/BE:

*ACA or ACCA qualified with 1-2 years post-qualification experience
*A minimum of 4 years experience working in a medium-sized practice
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office and other systems including Xero and Quickbooks
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
