Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead their finance function and support the senior leadership team in driving business performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to oversee financial operations, strengthen financial controls, deliver strategic insight, and play a pivotal role in supporting continued growth and success.




Key responsibilities of the Head of Finance:*Lead the finance function, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting.
*Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
*Prepare and present monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and KPI reporting to senior stakeholders.
*Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making.
*Oversee cashflow management, working capital, and treasury activities.
*Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, controls, and reporting.
*Manage the annual audit process and maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and advisors.
*Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and governance requirements.
*Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
*Support business growth initiatives, investment projects, and strategic planning activities.
*Provide detailed analysis on financial performance, profitability, and business opportunities.
*Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, contributing to the overall business strategy.
Key essentials of the Head of Finance:*ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
*Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
*Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise.
*Commercially minded with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders.
*Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of developing finance teams.
