Description
*Manage end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
*Provide advice and guidance on procurement policies and best practices.
*Develop and maintain supplier relationships to secure value for money.
*Prepare tender documents and evaluate supplier bids effectively.
*Monitor and report on procurement performance and cost savings.
*Identify and mitigate risks within procurement activities.
*Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.
*Support the development of procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals.
Profile
A successful Senior Procurement Officer should have:
*Experience in managing procurement processes within the public sector or a similar environment.
*Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
*Proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships effectively.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
*Relevant qualifications in procurement or supply chain management.

*Salary ranging from £39,481 to £43,149, dependent on the level of experience.
*Flexible, Hybrid working with 1-2 days on site per month
