Your new role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take responsibility for leading the finance function and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial reporting, controls, and commercial insight across the business. Key responsibilities will include:
*Leading the day-to-day operations of the finance department.
*Delivering accurate weekly and monthly management reporting.
*Providing financial analysis and performance insights to senior leadership.
*Maintaining and enhancing financial controls, processes, and accounting policies.
*Supporting business strategy through sound financial decision-making.
*Managing budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
*Ensuring compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
*Improving cashflow forecasting and working capital management.
*Acting as a key stakeholder in finance systems and process improvement projects.
*Leading, developing and motivating the finance team.



What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be:
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
*Experienced in an industry-based finance role.
*Ideally, have experience within a manufacturing environment.
*Comfortable operating in a hands-on Financial Controller position
*Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and controls.
*Familiar with standard costing methodologies.
*A strong people leader with excellent communication skills.
*Commercially minded with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business.
