This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional services company which offers a broad range of accountancy services to their clients. Based in Central London, they are looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant who will join a busy team within the firm and work with a broad range of clients.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
*Prepare company accounts for FRS105 and FRS102 Limited companies
*Prepare corporation tax computations for FRS105 and FRS102 companies
*Assist with personal tax compliance work as required
*Prepare personal tax returns
*Take responsibility for a portfolio of monthly bookkeeping and VAT return jobs
*Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
*Help train junior members of staff
*Handle client queries
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE/BE:
*Part-qualified ACA or ACCA or qualified AAT and looking to start ACA/ACCA.
*Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a small/medium size practice
*Working knowledge of corporation and personal tax is desirable
*Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
*Experience using Xero is desirable
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
WHAT YOU WILL GET:
