Job Description:
Full job descriptionA great opportunity has arisen to join an established construction management consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering project and programme management, design, engineering, planning, and surveying services across a range of sectors. The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out ANPR site surveys across retail and hospitality locations throughout the UK. The role involves identifying suitable camera positions, power sources, and cable routes to support future installations.
Approximately 50% of the role will involve travel to customer sites nationwide, with the remaining time spent in the office producing survey reports and project documentation using Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
This position requires someone who can take ownership of the survey process from initial planning through to completion and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
*Conduct ANPR surveys at sites across the UK.
*Identify suitable camera locations, power supplies, and cable routes.
*Produce clear and accurate survey reports and supporting documentation.
*Manage the survey process from planning through to completion.
*Create and update site plans and technical information.
*Liaise with stakeholders at all levels to establish project requirements and objectives.
*Maintain accurate project records, drawings, and work folders.
*Ensure all documentation is reviewed and approved before distribution.
*Work in accordance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
*Experience in a similar surveying, CCTV, ANPR, electrical, or construction-related role.
*Strong understanding of construction industry practices, including Health & Safety and CDM regulations.
*Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and web-based systems.
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Excellent organisation and time management abilities.
*Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Own vehicle with business-use insurance.
*Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK.
*Qualifications
*Degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
*CSCS Card (Black, Gold, or White), or qualifications and experience suitable to obtain one.
*Working Hours
*37.5 hours per week.
*Flexible start and finish times in line with company policy.
*Primarily office-based with regular UK travel.
