Full job descriptionPrimary SEN Teaching Assistant - B42 - Full Time
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a primary school in B42 on a full-time basis (5 days per week).
This role will involve supporting pupils within the school’s SEN provision, working primarily with children in Reception to Year 1. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of special educational needs and be confident supporting children with a range of additional needs.
Requirements:
Previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience essential
Experience working within a primary school setting
Knowledge of SEN provision and supporting EHCP outcomes
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Patient, nurturing and proactive approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
The Role:
Full-time position (5 days per week)
Immediate start available
Long-term opportunity
Supporting children within Reception and Year 1
Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO
Assisting with learning, engagement and social development
