About the Role We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness within supported housing and residential accommodation settings across London. The successful candidate will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities*Clean and maintain communal areas, offices, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and other designated spaces.
*Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise surfaces to a high standard.
*Empty bins and dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
*Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
*Report maintenance issues, hazards, and health and safety concerns.
*Follow cleaning schedules and company procedures.
*Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements Essential*Previous cleaning experience.
*Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
*Strong communication skills.
*Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
*Experience cleaning in residential, hostel, supported housing, healthcare, or social care environments.
*Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning products.
*Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards.
*Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures in the workplace.
*Ability to identify and report maintenance issues.
*Experience working with vulnerable adults or diverse communities.
*Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends if required.
