We are currently recruiting for a Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy vehicle operations team based in Thurleigh.
This is a hands-on role involving the safe movement of vehicles around the site, vehicle checks and general yard duties. You’ll be working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment where safety, reliability and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities*Driving and positioning vehicles around the yard and site
*Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any damage or issues
*Moving vehicles to the correct locations efficiently and safely
*Assisting with general yard and vehicle preparation duties
*Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
*Following all site health & safety procedures
*Working effectively as part of a busy team

*Safety-conscious with good attention to detail
*Flexible and willing to undertake a variety of yard duties
*Previous experience in a vehicle compound, car auction, logistics or yard environment is advantageous
Requirements*A full UK driving licence is required
*Good driving experience and confidence manoeuvring different vehicles
*Previous yard, logistics or vehicle-handling experience is desirable
