Salary: £25,192 - £27,152 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Installations Technician to support the delivery of practical electrical training programmes within a busy educational environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on electrical experience who is looking to move into the education sector and play a key part in supporting learners through high quality workshop and practical training activities.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare workshops, tools, equipment and materials for practical teaching sessions
*Carry out basic maintenance and repairs to electrical training equipment
*Support practical demonstrations, assessments and workshop activities
*Ensure workshops are safe, organised and compliant with Health & Safety requirements
*Assist with the development of practical learning resources and activities
*Work closely with teaching staff to support the delivery of electrical installation programmes
About You
*Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations or equivalent
*Experience working within an electrical installation, maintenance or repair environment
*Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Ability to build positive working relationships with both staff and learners
*A proactive and reliable approach to work
