IntroductionAre you a skilled Sheet Metal Operative or CNC Press Brake Operator looking for a new permanent opportunity? Are you interested in joining a dynamic and growing manufacturing company in Cullompton?
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our client as a Sheet Metal Operative, working in a friendly and supportive environment.
What We Offer*£30,000-£35,000 salary based on a 40-hour week.
*Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.
*Overtime available at flat rate during the week.
*Saturday overtime paid at time and a half.
*Permanent opportunity.
*Friendly and supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities*Read and interpret technical drawings to manufacture sheet metal parts and components.
*Use a variety of tools and machinery, including CNC, press brakes, rollers, guillotines and punching machines.
*Measure and cut sheet metal accurately according to specifications.
*Check the quality of finished products, ensuring they meet high standards.
*Work efficiently and independently to meet production targets and deadlines.
*Set and operate CNC press brakes, working to tight tolerances.
Requirements*Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator is essential.
*Experience with CNC-controlled brakes.
*Experience folding stainless steel, galvanised, aluminium and steel is preferred.
*Great attention to detail.
*Passion for sheet metal fabrication.
