Nursery Manager | BristolLocation: Bristol
Position: Full-Time
Salary: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Payroll Options: PAYE or Umbrella
Start Date: Immediate Starts Available
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to support a thriving nursery in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional to lead a committed team, oversee the day-to-day running of the setting, and ensure the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive and nurturing environment where children can flourish and reach their full potential.

Your Responsibilities*Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery
*Ensure high standards of care, learning, and development in line with the EYFS framework
*Manage, support, and motivate nursery staff to deliver outstanding childcare
*Maintain compliance with Ofsted requirements, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation
*Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and external agencies
*Monitor occupancy, staffing levels, and nursery performance
*Promote a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
Essential Requirements*Level 3 Early Years Qualification as a minimum (Mandatory)
*Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Children and Young People’s Services, Early Years, or equivalent (Desirable)
*Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or Senior Leadership role within an early years setting (Mandatory)
*Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework, Ofsted requirements, safeguarding, and child development
*A minimum of 24 months of referenceable work history within the last 5 years (Mandatory)
*Professional references provided from company/professional email addresses only (Mandatory)
*Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
*Right to work in the UK
*Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
*Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
