As a HGV Driver based in Milton Keynes youll be responsible for:
*Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
*Offering excellent Customer Service at all time
*Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
*Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
*Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration
*Unloading and loading on customers’ premises, where required
This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday
And heres what wed like you to have:
*A full, Class 1 HGV licence
*Up to date knowledge of digital tachographs
*Driver CPC
*Experience of using, or comfortable with learning, digital technology, i.e. handheld devices.
*Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships
