Full job descriptionJob Title: Manager, Intentional Peer Support Service
Hours: 16 Hours per week
Salary: £37,419 pro rata (£17, 023 pa actual)
Responsible to: CEO
Based at: 63 Downs Road, Sutton SM2 5NR and working remotely by arrangement

You will lead the operational delivery and development of SMHF’s peer support services, oversee recruitment, training and quality assurance, act as Safeguarding Lead, and contribute to strategic growth and partnerships.

Service Leadership and Operational Management*Lead and develop SMHF’s Intentional Peer Support Service.
*Oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, budgets, quality and performance.
*Line manage the Transformation Project Manager, IPS Trainers and Peer Support Workers.
*Ensure compliance with KPIs, GDPR, safeguarding and service standards.
*Work with data analysis staff to ensure high quality record keeping and reporting
*Monitor outcomes, manage risk and respond to feedback, complaints and incidents.
Service Delivery*Oversee referrals, assessments and allocation processes.
*Support staff to help people achieve meaningful goals.
*Maintain positive relationships with service users and partners.
Recruitment, Training and Workforce Development*Lead recruitment, induction and development of staff and volunteers.
*Oversee IPS training, accreditation and shadowing opportunities.
*Provide supervision, appraisal, coaching and reflective practice sessions to support staff delivering a safe quality service.
*Maintain DBS, training and workforce records.
Safeguarding and Organisational Leadership*Act as SMHF Safeguarding Lead.
*Provide safeguarding advice and oversight.
*Represent SMHF at relevant contract and partnership meetings and boards.

*Experience of safeguarding adults and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
*Experience of recruitment, induction, training or workforce development.
*Experience of working in partnership with statutory, voluntary and community organisations.
*Experience of monitoring performance, outcomes and quality standards.

*Experience of managing peer support services.
*Experience of Intentional Peer Support (IPS) training or practice.
*Experience of managing commissioned services or contracts.

Qualifications and TrainingEssential
*Relevant qualification in mental health, social care, community development, leadership or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

*Intentional Peer Support (IPS) Core Training.
*Safeguarding Lead or Designated Safeguarding training.
*Management, coaching or supervision qualification.
Other RequirementsEssential
*Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends where required.
*Enhanced DBS check.
*Ability to travel locally within Sutton as required.
