Full job descriptionAre you an experienced Pump or Mechanical Engineer looking for a varied, hands-on role with excellent overtime opportunities?
We’re recruiting for a skilled Engineer to carry out service, maintenance, overhaul and repair work on pumps, motors and rotating equipment across the local area, typically within a 50-mile radius.
The Role
· Service, repair and overhaul pumps, motors, fans and rotating equipment
· Replace bearings, mechanical seals and complete units
· Maintain sewage pumping stations and associated equipment
· Fault-find on mechanical and electrical systems
· Work directly with customers and site representatives
· Occasional working at height and in confined spaces, training provided for this
· Overtime and call-out available at premium rates
You’ll Have
*5+ years’ pump overhaul experience
*5+ years’ motor overhaul experience
*Good knowledge of pumps, motors, inverters and electrical systems
*Understanding of electrical panels and controls
*Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
*Full UK driving licence
*Comfortable travelling locally and working on customer sites

*Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:30 / Friday 8:00-3:30
