Full job descriptionA well-established and growing law firm is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor with 2 years PQE to join its successful private family law team in Stafford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in privately funded family work who is seeking greater autonomy, quality work and the chance to develop their own client base within a supportive and ambitious environment.
This role offers you an existing caseload from day one, genuine long-term career prospects and flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working and the option to work either four or five days per week.

The Role
You will join a team of five solicitors plus support staff in handling your own caseload of privately funded family law matters, while building your own practice and professional network as the department continues to expand.
Working closely with experienced family lawyers, you will be responsible for delivering practical and commercially focused advice to clients whilst ensuring matters progress efficiently.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will be a qualified Solicitor with experience handling privately funded family law matters.
You will ideally possess:
*Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
*Around 1-3 years’ PQE, although applications from candidates with more or less experience are welcomed
*Experience managing private family law matters from instruction through to completion
*Strong organisational and case management skills
*Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
*A commercial and pragmatic approach to legal practice
*Confidence working towards billing and financial targets
*A genuine desire to progress your career within a growing team
Please note that this opportunity is focused exclusively on privately funded family law work. Candidates whose experience is solely within legal aid family law are unlikely to be suitable.
