Hours: Full-time

We are currently recruiting for a number of temporary laboratory opportunities within a busy scientific environment. These roles are ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on laboratory experience and contribute to the day-to-day operation of an established laboratory team.
The positions will involve a mixture of laboratory support, sample preparation, laboratory housekeeping and general technical duties to ensure the smooth running of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing, processing and handling samples within the laboratory
*Supporting laboratory testing and analysis activities
*Maintaining accurate records and documentation
*Ensuring laboratory equipment and work areas are kept clean and organised
*Performing routine cleaning and hygiene duties to maintain laboratory standards
*Following laboratory procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements
*Working collaboratively with laboratory colleagues to achieve daily targets
Requirements
We are interested in hearing from candidates who have:
*A Levels in a scientific subject, an HND in a science-related discipline, or a Scientific Degree
*Some previous laboratory experience, whether gained through employment, university, placement year, internship or education
*Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*The ability to follow procedures and work accurately
*A positive attitude and willingness to learn
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
