Cambridge | Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)
£28,000 Basic Salary + Study Support
Are you a high-achieving graduate looking to launch your career in finance?
We’re partnering with an ambitious and fast-growing organisation in Cambridge seeking an exceptional Graduate Finance Assistant to join their collaborative finance team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a bright, analytical individual who is looking to gain hands-on experience, develop a professional accountancy qualification, and build a long-term career within finance.
Working closely with experienced finance professionals, you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting and commercial finance activities while receiving ongoing training and development.
Key Responsibilities*Processing supplier invoices and payments
*Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash management
*Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes
*Raising sales invoices and maintaining financial records
*Assisting with budgeting, reporting and financial analysis
*Supporting finance projects and process improvements
*Working with internal stakeholders across the business
*Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail across all financial transactions
About YouWe’re seeking someone who combines academic excellence with ambition and a genuine interest in pursuing a finance career.
You’ll likely have:
*A strong academic background, ideally a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline
*Excellent analytical and numerical skills
*Strong Excel and Microsoft Office capabilities
*Exceptional attention to detail
*A proactive and inquisitive mindset
*Outstanding communication skills
*The drive and determination to progress towards a professional qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
Previous finance experience is welcome but not essential. Attitude, aptitude and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
