*Job type: Temporary, Full-time, Office Based
*Location: Manchester, M60 2LA
*Pay: £13.45 per hour PAYE
*Duration: 21/09/2026 to 30/10/2026
*Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Manchester City Council is seeking a customer-focused and organised individual to support service delivery across its city centre sites in Ancoats and St Peter’s Square.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide accurate information and advice to the public.
*Handle enquiries professionally and escalate where necessary.
*Support administrative and operational activities.
*Work collaboratively with council services and external partners.
*Maintain high standards of customer service, health and safety, and equality practices.
What We’re Looking For:
*Strong customer service and communication skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Organised, reliable, and committed to delivering quality service.
*Positive approach to change and continuous improvement.
*Pride in supporting Manchester residents and communities.
Technical requirements:
*Experience and understanding of delivering excellent customer service.
*Flexibility to work unsocial hours, including weekends and evenings to meet the needs of the service.
*Experience of using ICT systems and supporting digital service delivery.
*Experience of supporting events, workshops or community engagement activities.
