£35,000+ | 37.5 hours | Excellent benefits
SF Partners is working with a fantastic business in Central Nottingham to recruit an experienced Credit Controller on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their ledger, building strong relationships with clients and having real visibility within a business. You’ll work closely with the Finance Director and wider team, with the chance to make an immediate impact from day one.
What you’ll be doing:
*Managing and recovering outstanding debt across your own accounts
*Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
*Resolving invoice and payment queries quickly and professionally
*Checking and issuing monthly sales invoices
*Preparing monthly debtor reports and weekly updates for Directors
*Maintaining sales invoicing reports and cashflow information
*Posting customer receipts and recording remittances
*Supporting with legal recovery action where required
*Working closely with the Finance Director on ad hoc reporting and analysis
What we’re looking for:
*Strong experience within Credit Control, Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable
*Confident communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
*A proactive approach to debt collection and query resolution
*Good Excel skills and confidence using finance systems
*Xero experience would be an advantage
*Experience within professional services or construction would be beneficial, but is not essential

*Salary of circa £35,000+
*28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
