Location: Carlisle
Job Type: Full Time, Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) 9-12 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
The Role
We are recruiting for a Customer Operations Advisor to join a busy and supportive team in Carlisle. This is a varied position combining stores, warehouse and purchasing support responsibilities.
This role would suit someone who enjoys a hands-on working environment, is organised, and is comfortable using computer systems while also carrying out practical warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities
*Receiving and processing deliveries
*Booking stock and goods into the company system
*Allocating items to the correct stock locations
*Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
*Maintaining a tidy and organised stores environment
*Monitoring and tracking outstanding deliveries
*Liaising with suppliers via email and telephone
*Supporting day-to-day operational and purchasing activities
*Carrying out general administrative tasks as required
About You
*Previous warehouse, stores or stock control experience would be advantageous but is not essential
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Comfortable using computer systems and learning new processes
*Good communication skills
*Reliable and proactive approach to work
*Able to undertake some physical duties, including moving stock and working across different areas of the site
*Positive attitude and willingness to learn
