We’re looking for a Head Chef who shares our passion for fresh ingredients, bold flavours, and creating memorable dishes that keep our loyal guests returning. The Role
*Lead our kitchen by preparing fresh, high-quality dishes every day, celebrating seasonal produce and comforting country-pub flavours.
*Oversee stock and suppliers, managing inventory and ordering to keep our intimate kitchen running smoothly.
*Maintain exceptional hygiene with a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace that reflects the pride we take in every plate.
*Guide and support the team, working closely with both kitchen and front-of-house to deliver warm, seamless service.
*Shape the menu with creative specials and thoughtful twists on classic country-pub dishes.
The Candidate
*Experienced in busy commercial kitchens and confident in taking ownership of your position
*Experienced with Gross Profit Margins, Portion Control, Wastage and Reporting
*Passionate about fresh ingredients, bold flavours, and honest, comforting food.
*Calm under pressure, reliable, and flexible with shifts — especially weekends and seasonal peaks.
*Food safety certified with extensive knowledge regarding allergens
*Someone who thrives in an intimate countryside setting and enjoys building relationships with regulars.
