This role sits within an established Insolvency & Restructuring team, working closely with an experienced partner on complex non-contentious matters across a varied and commercially significant caseload.

The Role
As an Insolvency & Restructuring Solicitor based in Glasgow, you’ll work directly alongside an experienced partner on a broad range of non-contentious restructuring matters, with real scope to develop technical depth and take on increasing responsibility over time.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting non-contentious restructuring work including group reorganisations, refinancings, debt restructuring and business and asset sales
*Assisting on formal insolvency processes and advising lenders, corporates and insolvency practitioners
*Drafting and negotiating transactional documentation
*Coordinating with colleagues across banking, corporate, real estate, tax and employment
*Building client relationships and contributing to business development activity
*Managing workstreams with guidance from senior colleagues
About You
This role would suit a Solicitor who:
*Has 2+ years’ PQE in restructuring, banking or a related transactional area
*Has an interest in developing technical expertise in non-contentious restructuring
*Communicates clearly and has solid drafting skills
*Takes an organised, proactive approach and manages competing priorities effectively
*Brings a commercial mindset and is comfortable collaborating across teams
*Has experience advising lenders or insolvency practitioners — useful but not essential
