Do you enjoy working with technical products, understanding how they work and helping customers find the right solution?
We’re looking for someone with a strong product-led, customer-facing background who can combine relationship building with commercial thinking.
You could currently be a Product Specialist, Customer Success Executive, Account Executive, Account Manager or Internal Sales Executive – what matters is that you’re comfortable working with a technical or complex product and enjoy getting into the detail.
The role
You’ll become a key point of contact for customers, developing a strong understanding of their requirements and helping identify the most appropriate product solution.
*Manage and develop incoming customer enquiries
*Understand customers’ technical and commercial requirements
*Build detailed knowledge of a complex engineering product range
*Explain product capabilities and benefits clearly to customers
*Work closely with technical specialists on more complex requirements
*Develop existing accounts and identify new opportunities
*Progress enquiries, quotations and opportunities through the sales process
*Build long-term relationships with customers and partners


About you
We’re particularly interested in people who have worked with technical, engineering, manufacturing, electronic, industrial or other complex products.
You’ll be customer-focused, commercially aware and naturally curious, with the ability to absorb technical information and become increasingly confident discussing products in detail.
You don’t need to be an engineer or already be a technical sales expert. Product aptitude, customer skills and the desire to learn are key. The original brief specifically allows for technical/engineering exposure through either education or work, with further technical and sales development provided.
