Full job descriptionThe ONE Group are recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to join a successful and growing business based in Peterborough on a part-time, permanent basis.
This is a newly created position following continued growth, so it’s a great opportunity to make the role your own and become a valued part of a small but mighty team.
Schedule: 9.30am-2.30pm (Monday - Friday)
For the right candidate, there could be flexibility to work across 4 days per week
Responsibilities:
Taking ownership of the day-to-day transactional finance for one of the companies within the group, your responsibilities will include:
*Full accounts payable process
*Full accounts receivable process
*Credit Control
*Bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping duties
*VAT returns
*Supporting the wider finance function as required
Requirements:
*Experience within a Bookkeeper/ Accounts Assistant role is essential, in order to hit the ground running
*Experience with Xero is preferred
*This role would be working every day on-site, so you would need to be able to commit to office attendance 5 days per week
This role would suit an accounts assistant/bookkeeper who is looking for the flexibility on part time hours, and wanting a stable, long term position with an established business.
You will be paid between £27,000-£32,000 (full time equivalent), depending on experience.
