Are you an experienced insurance professional looking to build your technical expertise within a highly respected international insurance business?
We’re recruiting for a Technical Insurance Technician to join a growing operations team supporting specialist insurance and broking divisions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some experience who enjoys working in a detail-focused environment and wants to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive business.
The Opportunity
As a Technical Insurance Technician, you will provide technical processing support across a range of insurance products and classes of business, ensuring documentation, data and transactions are handled accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
You’ll work closely with broking, operations and technical colleagues, taking ownership of your workload while contributing to wider team success.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing insurance documentation and transactions accurately and efficiently
*Supporting broking and technical teams with policy administration and technical processing activities
*Reviewing and checking documentation to ensure quality and compliance standards are maintained
*Managing and prioritising workloads to meet agreed service levels and deadlines
*Identifying and resolving routine technical issues using sound judgement
*Supporting less experienced team members and sharing technical knowledge
*Conducting quality control checks and highlighting potential risks or errors
*Assisting with process improvement initiatives and data quality projects
*Building effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the business
*Maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence
About You
We’re keen to hear from individuals who have:
*Experience within insurance operations, underwriting support, broking support, claims administration or technical insurance processing would be beneficial but isn’t essential
*A solid understanding of insurance principles and policy administration
*Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
*The ability to analyse information and make informed decisions within established procedures
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with business systems
*Insurance qualifications (such as CII) or equivalent industry experience would be advantageous
