Full job descriptionI’m currently partnering with a well-known and highly respected organisation to recruit a Technical Delivery Manager (Workday). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Workday professional to take ownership of a critical enterprise platform, leading a team responsible for its ongoing support, security, governance and future development.

Working closely with HR, Technology and key business stakeholders, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring Workday remains stable, secure and fit for purpose, whilst delivering enhancements that improve the colleague experience across the organisation. This role offers a blend of leadership, service ownership and Workday expertise within a large and complex environment.

Key Responsibilities
*Lead the day-to-day operation, support and continuous improvement of the Workday platform
*Manage and develop a team responsible for Workday delivery, support and administration
*Oversee incident, request and service management activities, ensuring high levels of performance and user satisfaction
*Drive the delivery of new functionality, enhancements and platform improvements
*Provide expert guidance on Workday best practice, configuration, security and governance
*Monitor tenant health and proactively identify opportunities for optimisation
*Partner with HR and Technology stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
*Manage Workday releases, testing activities and change deployments
*Collaborate with third-party suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes
*Champion continuous improvement across processes, systems and service delivery

Experience Required
*Strong experience working with Workday in a lead, manager or platform ownership capacity
*Good understanding of Workday HCM and related modules
*Experience managing Workday security, access controls and governance
*Previous team leadership or people management experience
*Strong service management and operational support experience
*Experience delivering system enhancements, upgrades and development roadmaps
*Knowledge of Agile, Scrum or similar delivery methodologies
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
*A proactive approach to platform health, optimisation and continuous improvement
