Full job descriptionFindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established residential housebuilder with the recruitment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow, with travel to sites.
Monday - Friday
Salary

Key Responsibilities
*Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of housing developments.
*Manage projects from initial procurement through to final account.
*Set, monitor and manage project budgets.
*Place subcontractor and supplier orders.
*Produce accurate commercial reports and cost forecasts.
*Monitor material costs and project expenditure.
*Liaise closely with subcontractors, site teams and other internal departments.
*Ensure commercial activity is completed in line with company procedures.
*Support and provide guidance to junior members of the commercial team.
*Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction.
*Residential housebuilding experience would be highly advantageous.
*Strong commercial, budgeting and cost-management experience.
*Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification such as a degree, HND or equivalent.
*RICS qualification or progress towards professional accreditation would be beneficial.
*Full UK driving licence required.
