Are you a highly organised administrator with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading medical products company for an Administrator to join their busy and supportive team in Stafford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role with the potential to become permanent following a successful temporary period.
The Role
As Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting customer service, commercial administration, quality management processes, and general office operations. You will work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure the smooth running of administrative activities and deliver excellent support to customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Communication
*Monitor and respond to shared company inboxes.
*Provide excellent customer service and support customer enquiries.
*Assist with contract administration, including product listings, pricing and document management.
*Support customer communications regarding deliveries, orders and complaints.
*Work closely with internal departments to ensure effective information sharing.
Commercial Administration
*Support contract management and customer reporting.
*Maintain and update company price lists.
*Prepare, issue and record quotations using company procedures.
*Monitor tender portals and identify relevant opportunities.
*Assist with tender submissions and maintain tender documentation libraries.
*Manage and maintain tender portal databases and login information.
Quality & Compliance Support
*Assist with maintaining Quality Management Systems and company procedures.
*Support the management of ISO9001 documentation and health & safety records.
*Distribute company policies and maintain acknowledgement records.
*Support internal audit activities and compliance updates.
General Administration
*Support the management of office facilities and building-related compliance activities.
*Maintain training records and monitor e-learning completion.
*Assist with absence administration and central filing systems.
*Arrange travel and accommodation bookings when required.
*Provide general administrative support across the business.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
*Is exceptionally organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
*Has strong administration experience.
*Possesses excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
*Has strong communication and customer service skills.
*Is confident using Microsoft Office applications.
*Can work independently and as part of a team.
*Has GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
Desirable
*Experience using SAP Business One.
*Knowledge of NHS procurement processes or medical supplies industry.
