Veritas Education are working in partnership with a local primary school in the Lancaster area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team from October Half Term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 1 practitioner to take on a full-time teaching role within a nurturing school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for a Year 2 class and will play a key role in supporting pupils through this important stage of their primary education.
The Role*Full-time class teacher responsibility for a Year 2 class
*Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
*Assessing, tracking and monitoring pupil progress
*Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
*Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
*Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, attainment and personal development
The Successful Candidate Will:*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1
*Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
*Have a sound understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment requirements
*Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
*Be approachable, professional and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
