Suffolk | Salary dependent on experience | Fixed-term contract
Are you a strong administrator with a sharp eye for detail? If you enjoy accurate work, keeping things organised and helping customers, this could be the role for you.
You do not need a credit control or sales ledger background, and you do not need formal accountancy qualifications. What matters most is accuracy, strong organisation, a helpful manner with customers and a willingness to learn.
What you will be doing:
*Raising invoices and credit notes and keeping records accurate
*Careful data entry to keep systems up to date
*Checking details meet audit requirements before billing
*Liaising with customers and the internal sales team
*Responding to queries quickly and professionally
*Supporting the wider finance team with general administration and other duties as needed
What we are looking for:
*Excellent attention to detail and a genuine pride in accurate work
*Strong administration skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
*A confident communicator who is comfortable dealing with customers
*Some experience of general office administration, data entry, invoicing or a similar support role
*Someone happy to learn new computer systems, with full training provided
*Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
Nice to have, though genuinely not essential:
*Experience in a credit control or sales ledger role
*Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar
*Experience using D365 or a similar finance system
