Reed Finance are working with a well-established organisation based in the heart of Edinburgh city centre who are seeking a dedicated Management Accountant. This role involves managing daily financial tasks, producing critical financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial documents.
As well as established management accountants, this client also welcomes experienced assistant accountants with good exposure across month-end duties, looking to take the next step up.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Managing daily cash flows and perform daily bank reconciliations
*Monitoring Aged Debtors and handle both £GBP and EURO ledgers
*Producing monthly sales invoices and reconcile these invoices to the Sales Ledger
*Collecting Direct Debits payments from customer accounts
*Conducting monthly supplier payment runs and PAYE payment preparation and reconciliation
*Producing VAT returns
*Preparing monthly management accounts for two entities
*Performing balance sheet reconciliations and stock reconciliation
*Preparing forecasts and ad-hoc reports for management as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
*Excellent oral and written communication skills
*Self-motivated with a positive attitude
