Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced People Advisor to join their People Team within the Central Division. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident HR professional looking to work in a fast-paced environment where they can make a genuine impact across the employee lifecycle.
The Role
As a People Advisor, you will provide professional, commercially focused HR support to managers and employees across the business. You’ll offer timely and practical guidance on people policies, procedures and employment matters, ensuring consistency, fairness and compliance with UK employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a range of employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, capability and absence management.
*Coach, support and challenge managers to make fair, consistent and legally compliant decisions.
*Draft high-quality outcome letters, investigation reports and case documentation.
*Analyse employee relations trends and recommend proactive solutions and training initiatives.
*Support TUPE transfers, including employee data management, consultation processes and implementation activities.
*Provide guidance on TUPE legislation, organisational change and employee communications.
*Assist with restructures, redundancies and wider change management programmes.
*Build strong working relationships with managers and stakeholders across the business.
*Provide advice and guidance on company policies and procedures.
*Support wellbeing, engagement and inclusion initiatives.
*Contribute to the development of a positive, ethical and high-performance culture.
*Collaborate with wider People teams including Talent & Development, People Operations and Payroll.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll be an experienced HR professional who combines excellent employment law knowledge with strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
Essential Requirements:
*Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HR Advisor or People Advisor role.
*Proven experience managing high-volume and complex employee relations cases with minimal escalation.
*Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
*Experience coaching and influencing managers at various levels.
*End-to-end TUPE experience, including consultation and implementation.
*Experience supporting restructures, redundancies and organisational change programmes.
Desirable:
*CIPD Level 5 qualified or currently studying.
*Experience within housing, facilities management or similar service-led organisations.
*Experience supporting multi-site operations.
*Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial environment.
