Engage Education are looking for Bank Staff Complex Needs Support Workers to work across SEND schools in Leeds.
Are you an experienced Support Worker, Teaching Assistant or someone with experience supporting children and young people with complex needs? Are you looking for flexible, day-to-day work that fits around your existing commitments?

The Role
As a Bank Staff Complex Needs Support Worker, you will provide support in SEND school settings, helping pupils to engage with their learning and develop their confidence and independence.
Your responsibilities may include:
*Providing 1:1 support to pupils with complex needs.
*Supporting pupils within small groups or classroom settings.
*Helping pupils to engage with learning and daily activities.
*Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
*Working alongside teachers and other support staff.
*Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
*Following individual support plans, school policies and safeguarding procedures.
*Providing cover for planned and unplanned staff absences, sometimes at short notice.
