Rate: £40.73 per hour
Contract: 12 months | Inside IR35
Working pattern: Monday-Friday, fully onsite
We’re looking for an experienced Design Engineer - Air & Fuel Systems to join a leading engineering team in Peterborough, working on the development of next-generation diesel engine products.
Key responsibilities:
*Design and develop air and fuel system components for diesel engines.
*Produce and manage designs using Creo CAD and Teamcenter PLM.
*Lead/support design reviews and work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
*Support FMEA, APQP and DVP&R activities.
*Investigate technical issues and develop robust engineering solutions.
*Collaborate with global engineering and manufacturing teams.
What we’re looking for:
*Strong experience in air and/or fuel system design.
*Proven Creo CAD experience.
*Experience with Teamcenter and engine/powertrain product development.
*Background in diesel, reciprocating or off-highway engines.
*Good understanding of mechanical engineering, manufacturing and component development.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
An engineering degree is desirable but relevant industry experience can be considered in lieu of qualifications.
