JOB TITLE: Clinical Negligence Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 3+
LOCATION: West Yorkshire
SALARY: Up to £50,000 (DOE)
THE ROLE:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a highly regarded specialist team with offices across Yorkshire. You will manage a varied and complex caseload of clinical negligence claims from initial instruction through to settlement or trial, acting for clients who have suffered harm as a result of substandard medical care. Your work will include surgical errors, misdiagnosis, birth injuries, medication errors and delayed treatment claims, with the opportunity to handle complex, high value matters involving multiple expert witnesses. You will work closely with medical experts, counsel and colleagues across the wider firm to secure the best possible outcomes for your clients, while also contributing to the continued development of the department.

Applications are sought from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE specialising in clinical negligence. You will have a strong technical understanding of clinical negligence law and demonstrable experience managing complex claims, ideally including high value matters involving multiple experts. The successful candidate will be empathetic, organised and confident managing their own caseload, with a strong commitment to client care and the ability to work effectively to deadlines. Experience supporting or mentoring junior fee earners would also be advantageous.
