IntroductionWe are currently recruiting for a Lab Technician to join a small, friendly team within a production environment in Taunton.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working with chemicals who is looking to develop their skills within a technical and hands-on role.
What We Offer*Permanent position.
*£12.71-£13.75 per hour, depending on experience.
*35 hours per week.
*Monday to Friday day shifts.
*Immediate start available.
*Friendly, small-team working environment.
*Opportunity to develop technical and production skills.
*Full training on the company’s specific processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities*Clean, test and etch small components and assemblies.
*Handle chemicals safely, including bulk handling of materials up to 25kg.
*Follow production processes and work instructions.
*Work in line with Health & Safety and COSHH requirements.
*Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
*Work as part of a small team to meet production requirements.
*Carry out tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements*Previous experience working with chemicals, preferably within a production or manufacturing environment.
*Experience handling chemical materials, including weights of up to 25kg.
*Good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
*Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
*Ability to follow detailed processes and instructions.
*Reliable, flexible and positive attitude.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
