Full job descriptionJob Title: Site Manager - Social Housing Decarbonisation
Location: Milton Keynes
Rate: £23.58 per hour PAYE
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Temporary contract through to end of March)
Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in social housing maintenance or domestic energy retrofits? We are recruiting a Site Manager for a 6-month contract in Milton Keynes to deliver essential upgrade works under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF).
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee day-to-day site operations across social housing properties, ensuring works are completed safely, to specification, and on schedule.
*Supervise sub-contractors and trades installing Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), Loft Insulation, and Cavity Wall Insulation.
*Enforce strict Health & Safety standards on-site and maintain clear records/compliance logs.
*Act as the primary site contact for residents, client representatives, and trade teams.
Requirements:
*Experience: Proven site management experience within social housing, residential refurbishments, or energy efficiency/decarbonisation projects.
*Qualifications: Relevant NVQ in Site Management / Construction Trades, along with SMSTS and a valid CSCS Card.
*Knowledge: Familiarity with SHDF or PAS 2030 / PAS 2035 retrofit standards is highly advantageous.
