Full Time

If you’re a Commercial Property Paralegal with at least a year’s experience in the practice area, this is an opportunity to join an established team where you can continue to build your experience across a broad range of commercial property work.

This isn’t a role for someone looking to simply assist from the sidelines. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day running of commercial property matters, working with experienced lawyers and developing your ability to manage transactions, deal with clients and take increasing responsibility for your own workload.

The work covers a broad commercial property caseload, giving you exposure to different types of transactions and clients rather than tying you to one particular niche.
You’ll be involved in:*Commercial property sales and purchases
*Landlord and tenant matters
*Commercial leases
*Property-related development work
*General commercial property transactions
*Supporting solicitors on more complex matters
*Liaising with clients, agents and other parties throughout transactions
*Managing files and keeping matters progressing efficiently
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year’s commercial property experience, with 2–3 years of overall paralegal experience preferred.

You don’t need to be qualified and you don’t need to have every aspect of commercial property covered. What matters is that you’ve gained genuine practical experience in the area, understand how transactions progress and are ready to take the next step in your development.

You’ll also need to be comfortable dealing directly with clients and working as part of a friendly, approachable team. A driving licence and access to a car would be advantageous, particularly given the firm’s office locations and client base.

This is a good opportunity for a Commercial Property Paralegal, Property Paralegal or experienced Legal Assistant who wants to develop their technical knowledge, take on more responsibility and work alongside experienced commercial property lawyers.
