Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe’re working with a renowned London theatre to appoint a Finance Business Partner into the finance team.
This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys being much more than the person producing the numbers. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, helping them understand financial performance, make informed decisions and plan for the future.
The roleYou’ll be a key finance partner to a range of teams across the theatre’s commercial and artistic deparments, providing insightful reporting, analysis and financial advice. You’ll build strong relationships with non-finance colleagues and help bring the numbers to life; challenging assumptions, identifying opportunities and supporting better decision-making.
You’ll be involved in:
*Providing insightful management reporting and financial analysis
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
*Business partnering with senior stakeholders across the organisation
*Providing financial modelling and scenario analysis to support decision-making
*Challenging and supporting budget holders to improve financial performance
*Translating financial information into clear, meaningful insights
*Supporting longer-term planning and strategic projects
*Helping strengthen financial understanding across the organisation
About youWe’re looking for someone who is commercial, curious and confident working with stakeholders. You’ll be comfortable getting under the skin of the numbers, but equally interested in understanding the wider organisation and what drives its success.
You’ll ideally be a finalist or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong management accounting and business partnering experience. Experience within the arts, culture, charity or wider not-for-profit sector would be beneficial, but we’re also keen to hear from strong commercial finance professionals who are excited by the opportunity to work in the theatre world.
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who can build trusted relationships, communicate clearly and isn’t afraid to challenge constructively.
This is a role with genuine breadth and visibility, offering the chance to play an important part in the financial and strategic direction of a brilliant theatre organisation.
