Shift Pattern: 7:30am–9:30pm / 2:30pm–9:30pm / 7.30:00am–2:30pm

P4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Residential Support Worker to join a specialist children’s residential home in Rushden, supporting young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
This is more than just a support role. You will become an important part of the young people’s lives, helping them develop their independence, confidence and life skills as they prepare for adulthood.
About the roleAs a Residential Support Worker, you will provide day-to-day support, encouragement and guidance, helping the young people to enjoy positive experiences and achieve their personal goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Providing high-quality care and support tailored to each young person’s individual needs
*Supporting young people with learning disabilities and complex needs
*Helping with daily routines and developing independent living skills
*Getting involved in activities, hobbies and community outings
*Encouraging social development, confidence and positive relationships
*Supporting education, life skills and preparation for adulthood
*Building trusting and meaningful relationships with the young people
*Promoting choice, independence and positive decision-making
*Working closely with colleagues, families and other professionals
*Following individual care plans and maintaining accurate records
*Ensuring the home remains a safe, positive and nurturing environment

You don’t necessarily need years of experience what matters is your attitude, values and willingness to learn.
Experience working with children, young people, learning disabilities, complex needs, autism or challenging behaviours would be highly desirable.
You will need to:
