Full job descriptionAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor specialising in healthcare projects, you’ll play a key role in managing costs and ensuring value for money on construction projects within the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Description
*Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for healthcare construction projects.
*Provide advice on procurement strategies and contract management.
*Monitor project progress to ensure it stays on schedule and within budget.
*Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimise project efficiency.
*Prepare tender documents and manage the tendering process.
*Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
*Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including NHS and healthcare guidelines.
*Lead on final account settlements and post-project reviews.
Profile
A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:
*Professional qualifications such as MRICS or equivalent.
*Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, particularly in healthcare and life sciences projects.
*Experience in construction project delivery within the healthcare sector, including NHS projects.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency in preparing cost estimates and financial reports.
*Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

*Competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £75,000, dependent on the level of experience.
